Traditionally in March of each year we sponsor a fund raising gala, silent auction and party which we have named "SPLASH". Net of direct expenses, all of the funds are set aside to be distributed to charitable organizations locally in Huntington Beach, or regionally in Orange County, and some internationally. 50% of the net proceeds go directly to the Boys and Girls club of Huntington Valley (https://bgchv.com), the club's primary charity we support.The rest of the money is allocated to various other qualifying charities throughout the next year. None of the funds are used for club expenses, as they are paid by the membership via quarterly dues.
